18 October 2006: We are pleased to announce that Glossop Judo Club has won the High Peak Borough Council Sports Club of the Year award and have now been put forward for the Derbyshire County awards on the 3rd November. We wish them luck for the County awards.

13 October 2006: The European Kata Championships are due to be held in Turin on October 20->23 2006. Representing Great Britain are Sean Nuttall and George Launders. Congratulations to both on their selections and we wish them the very best of luck at the Championships.
