All club Secretaries and Chairpersons have been posted entry forms today for the Four Counties Championships which is incorporating the North West Area Trials for the British Championships 2009. This entry form can also be downloaded from our website.
It is important to note that on the entry form it states;
"Any person gaining a medal in the trials will only be eligible to represent the North West Area at the British Pre-Cadet, Cadet and Junior Men and Women Championships held on Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th October 2009.
The appropriate entry form will be handed to the medalists only. This has to be returned on the same day with a copy of their Birth Certificate, British Passport and the entry of £18.00. This is a condition of entry."
A separate desk will be available on the day for the purpose of ensuring that all parts of the entry form are completed correctly.

01 January 2010: Firstly, Happy New Year. Unfortunately, with a new year comes new rules and, as widely suspected, the IJF have introduced new rules which come into effect from today. New rules here. 05 August 2009: Three men from the North West Area will be representing Great Britain at the forthcoming World Championships in Rotterdam later this month. Good luck to Matthew Clempner (+100), Peter Lomax (-100 reserve) and Andy Burns (-90 reserve)

23 June 2009: Congratulations to Burnley Judo Club who have just been awarded the Sport England Club Mark Bronze award.
22 June 2009: The last chance to impress the Area Squad Coach's for selection for this years National Team Championships will be Wirral Judo Club on 11 July 2009.
